Meal Kit: Spaghetti Bolognese for 4
This recipe kit for organic vegan spaghetti bolognese includes almost everything you need for a protein-packed vegan spaghetti bolognese. Your plastic-free recipe kit includes:
- Organic sunflower seed mince x (80g)
- Organic chopped tomatoes (400g)
- Organic spaghetti (300g)
- Organic herbs de Provence
- Cornish sea salt
- Cracked black pepper
The ingredients will be sent in paper bags, please reuse.
* Just add: 1 x onion, 4-5 cloves of garlic, 1 x carrot , a few mushrooms (and any other veggies you have laying around)
* Optional: a sprinkling of sugar and/or a splash of red wine, balsamic vinegar or Worcestershire sauce. Serve with nooch (nutritional yeast) or your favourite grated cheese.
Finely chop onion, garlic and carrot. Gently fry until softened (adding a dash of water if needed).
Add the sunflower seed mince and fry-off for a couple of minutes to take on the flavours of the onion and garlic.
Add chopped tomatoes, herbs, salt and pepper and a 1/2 cup of water (you might need to add more so do keep an eye on things).
If you're using them, add balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, red wine and sugar. Cook for 20-30 minutes (or until the wine's cooked off if you're using it!). Add more liquid if needed.
Cook spaghetti in boiling water for 9-10 minutes.
