Organic chickpeas are such a versatile ingredient – use them whole, or crushed to make falafel or veggie burgers, or mashed to a creamy consistency for hummus. They're super healthy, too. You only need 3 tbsp of chickpeas to count as one of your five-a-day.
How to soak and cook dried chickpeas: Soak chickpeas in water for 8-12 hours, drain. Add to a pot of boiling water and simmer for approx. 45mins-1 hour.
How to store dried chickpeas: Orders will sent in paper bags (please reuse and recycle), but we recommend storing beans in an airtight container upon delivery. Once cooked, beans can be put out on a baking tray, frozen, and then stored in containers in the freezer.
