At Home with Nature
Biophilic design principles explore the impact that connecting to nature has on our health and wellbeing. This beautifully curated book, 'At Home with Nature' is aimed at helping people make realistic, achievable changes to their homes by incorporating elements from nature to create an environment that nurtures and supports them from the minute they step through the door.
Marianna Popejoy has taken the six core biophilic principles and divided them up into twelve easy-to-follow chapters. From 'colour psychology' that can help boost your productivity, and the natural materials that aid a good night’s sleep, all the way through to tips on choosing and caring for houseplants – this is a book that you’ll want to refer back to time and time again.
The hard copy books are bound in green linen, printed on a recycled uncoated stock, and wrapped in bespoke tissue paper. It really is a beautiful book.
A note from the author: "Once upon a time, a woman had no work due to a global pandemic. Trapped in her own home, with nowhere to escape, she decided to take the two things that she loves the most: writing and interior design, and squished them both together until a book about biophilic interiors was born. I have painstakingly curated every single word, image and illustration (drawn by my very talented husband, Ross) in the book. Every millimeter of it has been chosen with love and care… From the linen cover, to the quality paper stock and the hand drawn illustrations upon them. We’ve poured our hearts and souls into it over the last three years, and I hope that you love it as much as we do." Marianna Popejoy
