Loofah Back Scrubber

A natural, plastic-free, back scrubber loofah. Skilfully hand-made in Egypt from the gourd of native Luffa Aegyptiaca plant, with extra wide Egyptian cotton woven handles. A 100% biodegradable alternative to plastic exfoliator pads which we now know cause microplastics to shed and infiltrate our bodies, organs and deepest oceans.

The generous rectangular loofah is 30x10 cm, and when immersed in it water swells up to become a soft, spongy and flexible pad. The back scrubber will last for months with normal use and when worn out can be composted.

How to use: Use in the shower or bath on damp skin with soap or gel to clean, freshen, exfoliate and invigorate the back and body. To keep the loofah fresh between uses, rinse and squeeze out excess water and hang to dry. Occasionally wash in the washing machine or by hand if desired.
