Lavender Essential Oil is distilled from the leaves and flowering tops of the Lavandula angustifolia plant. A perennial, bushy shrub with silvery, grey or green linear leaves and purple, violet or blue spiky flowers. This variety of Lavender Essential Oil comes from Bulgaria. Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil is rightfully regarded as one of the finest Lavenders. An ideal climate of warm summers and plentiful rain during the winter and free draining soil leads to higher natural levels of linalool, the key natural component of quality Lavender.
