Aduki Beans | Organic
Organic dried aduki beans are perfect in stews, chillis, burgers and casseroles. They can also be sprouted for use in salads and stir fries. These small, red beans (sometimes called adzuki beans) are powerhouses of nutrition and bursting with zinc, magnesium, iron and potassium.
How to soak and cook dried aduki beans:
Dried organic aduki beans take less time to prepare and cook than the rest of the dried bean family. Soak beans in water for 1-2 hours, drain. Add to a pot of boiling water and simmer for approx. 1 hour. Once cooked, beans can be added to your favourite recipe – or lay out on baking tray, freeze, and then store in containers in the freezer.
How to store aduki beans:
Orders will sent in paper bags (please reuse and recycle), but we recommend storing beans in an airtight container upon delivery.
100% plastic free. Ethically and sustainably sourced. Available in-store and online.
