Regular price £0.50 Sale

Black eyed beans are great in stews and chillis – but can be used in a whole host of recipes including soups and salads too. One 70g serving of cooked black eye beans is high in folate and a source of manganese, phosphorus and copper.

How to soak and cook dried black eyed beans: Soak beans in water for 6-12 hours, drain. Add to a pot of boiling water and simmer for approx. 1 hour.

How to store black eyed beans: Orders will sent in paper bags (please reuse and recycle), but we recommend storing beans in an airtight container upon delivery. Once cooked, beans can be put out on a baking tray, frozen, and then stored in containers in the freezer.
